Two-car garage
transformation.
One garage.
Done all the way.
5 Alarm's first job was a two-car garage: a working space with storage on every wall and a bare concrete slab with years of stains and a crack running the length of the floor.
The plan was the full five-layer system. Grind the slab, lay down a black base coat, broadcast Raven flake by Torginol to full coverage and seal it under a polyaspartic topcoat. Here's how it came together.
Before & prep
The size-up found a stained slab and a long crack. Then the whole floor was diamond ground with dust extraction running, opening up the concrete so the coating has something to grab.

Broadcast
A black base coat went down, then Raven flake was thrown by hand until no base showed through. Once it set, the loose chips were scraped and cleared, and the edges were cut clean at the garage door.

No base showing means even color and texture across the whole floor, more grip underfoot, and a surface that hides everyday dust and wear.
Finished
A clear polyaspartic topcoat sealed it all in: a deep black floor with white and gray flake and a gloss that picks up every light in the garage.

“First job complete and a very happy customer! This job turned out amazing with a black base coat and Raven flakes by Torginol, finished with a polyaspartic top coat.”
